These Terms of Use (together with the documents referred to in it and our Privacy Policy) govern the services made available to you by Reception247 Limited (“Reception247”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using this website or other Reception247 products or services (collectively, the “Site”), whether as a guest or a registered user, you signify that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Use of the Site includes accessing, browsing, or registering to use the Site.

If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use the Site. By using the Site, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Use and that you agree to comply with them.

These Terms of Use are effective until terminated by either party. If you no longer agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, you must cease your use of the Site. Your use of the Site is at your sole risk. If you are dissatisfied with the Site, its content or any of these Terms of Use, your remedy is to discontinue using the Site.

Information about us

This website is operated by Reception247 Limited (“We”), a limited company. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 12542096 and have our registered office at 4 Paradise Street, Sheffield, S1 2DF.

Your account

With respect to your account, you agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself. It is your responsibility to maintain and promptly update this account information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is fraudulent, untrue, inaccurate, incomplete or not current, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is fraudulent, untrue, inaccurate, incomplete or not current, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice and refuse any and all current and future use of the Site. Furthermore, you agree that we will not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to your account or the Site.

When you create your account, you will be asked to supply a user ID and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur in connection with your password or account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. You further agree that you will not permit others, including those whose accounts have been terminated, to access the Site using your account or user ID. If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user ID or password, you must promptly notify us at support@reception247.com or 0800 006 1111.

Billing

We measure “receptionist minutes” as the duration our agents spend handling your call, for example speaking with the caller or time spent contacting you or your employees during a transfer. We do not count time spent on admin after the call, for example when writing notes about the call to email to you.

All incoming and outgoing calls through the system are rounded up to the nearest minute for purposes of billing, for example a 50 second call will be billed as one full minute.

Intellectual property rights

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

Copying, publishing, broadcasting, re-broadcasting, webcasting, transmitting, modifying, deleting, augmenting, distributing, downloading, storing, reproducing, sublicensing, adapting or creating derivative works of this content, or posting this content or selected portions of this content in any manner on any network computer, broadcast media or other technologies existing now or hereinafter developed for unauthorized publication or commercial use without the prior written consent of Reception247 are strictly prohibited. You hereby agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, decompile, disassemble or exploit for any commercial purposes any portion of the Site, use of the Site or access to the Site, or to collect any information about Site visitors or registered users of the Site.

Changes to these terms

Reception247 may modify the Terms of Use at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms of Use. Accordingly, you agree to review the Terms of Use periodically, and your continued use of this Site shall be deemed your acceptance of the modified Terms of Use.

Changes to the Site

Reception247 may change or modify the information, services, materials and any other resources contained on or accessible through the Site, or discontinue the Site altogether, at any time without notice.

Accessing the Site

The Site is made available free of charge.

We do not guarantee that the Site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. Access to the Site is permitted on a temporary basis. Viruses

We do not guarantee that the Site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform in order to access the Site. You should use your own virus protection software.

You must not misuse the Site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attack the Site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any content posted by you or any other user the Site.

The views expressed by other users on the Site do not represent our views or values.

You are solely responsible for securing and backing up your content.

Contributions must:

give the impression that they emanate from us, if this is not the case; or
advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Reception247, its affiliates, officers, directors,employees, agents and licensors from and against all losses, liabilities, costs (including legal costs), damages, judgments and claims, of every kind and nature, arising from or relating in any way to your use of the Site, your conduct in connection with the Site or your violation of these Terms of Use, any law, or the rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to and use of the Site, or parts of the Site, without notice, if we believe, in our sole discretion, that your use of the Site is not in compliance with these Terms of Use.

Linking to The Site

You may link to the Site, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. You must not establish a link to the Site in any website that is not owned by you. The Site must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of the Site other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

We do not control such sites and, therefore, we are not responsible for any content posted on these sites. <h2>Applicable law</h2> <p> If you are a consumer, please note that these Terms of Use, its subject matter and its formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland. </p>

If you are a business, these Terms of Use, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any part of this agreement is ruled to be unenforceable, then such part shall be severed, with the remainder of the agreement remaining in full force and effect. These terms, conditions and policies constitute the entire agreement between you and Reception247 governing your use of the Site. Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
